Families join because they want connection. And they find it quickly. The Wright Mommy & Me creates a safe, relaxed space where parents talk honestly, laugh together, share the real stuff, and support one another through the ups and downs of baby’s first year.

Friendships form naturally — often lasting well beyond the program.

The classes strike a balance between community, gentle structure, and age-appropriate experiences.

A typical class includes:

1. Arrival + Open Questions

As everyone settles in, the class leader opens discussion, helping parents reflect, share experiences, and support one another.

2. Songs & Movement (15–20 minutes)

Simple songs and movement help babies transition into class, support early social engagement, and build connection.

3. Thoughtful Group Discussion (Topic of the Day)

This is the heart of the class — a warm, supportive conversation tailored to the babies’ age. Topics include:

  • Emotional development

  • Communication

  • Soothing & bonding

  • Feeding & sleep rhythms

  • Motor development & play

  • Parent identity

  • Big feelings in early parenthood

  • and many more!

While parents talk, babies nap, feed, cuddle, observe, or explore — all at their own pace.

4. Baby-Led Exploration

As babies become more mobile, they enjoy age-appropriate play, toys, bubbles, shaker songs, early books, and interacting with each other. Baby-led exploration nurtures healthy brain development.

5. Closing Goodbye Song

A warm closing ritual builds predictable rhythm week after week.

3. Parents Come for Community — and End Up Learning More Than Expected

What families say again and again is:
“I joined to meet other parents. I had no idea how much I’d learn.”

The program is grounded in child development and infant mental health expertise, offered in a warm, down-to-earth style. It helps parents feel informed and supported — without the overload that comes from online information.

The Wright Mommy & Me program includes five consecutive 8-week series, designed to follow your baby’s development during the first year. Classes are held in Santa Monica and Sherman Oaks.

Series 1

For newborns and brand-new parents — bonding, soothing, feeding, sleep foundations, emotional development, and adjusting to parenthood.

Series 2

For older infants — more alert babies, communication cues, emerging play, motor skills, sleeping through the night and feeding (introducing solids).

Series 3–5

Ongoing connection, mindful parenting, age-matched guidance, preschool exploration, social play, emotional development, the science of praise and more.

Parents move through the year together, forming deep friendships and a strong support network.

5. No Long Commitment — Just 8 Weeks at a Time

Enrollment is done one series at a time, and continuing is always optional. Current families get priority for the next series. Most choose to stay, but there’s never pressure.
