Bubbles and songs at Mommy and Me in Santa Monica!
The classes strike a balance between community, gentle structure, and age-appropriate experiences.
A typical class includes:
1. Arrival + Open Questions
As everyone settles in, the class leader opens discussion, helping parents reflect, share experiences, and support one another.
2. Songs & Movement (15–20 minutes)
Simple songs and movement help babies transition into class, support early social engagement, and build connection.
3. Thoughtful Group Discussion (Topic of the Day)
This is the heart of the class — a warm, supportive conversation tailored to the babies’ age. Topics include:
Emotional development
Communication
Soothing & bonding
Feeding & sleep rhythms
Motor development & play
Parent identity
Big feelings in early parenthood
and many more!
While parents talk, babies nap, feed, cuddle, observe, or explore — all at their own pace.
4. Baby-Led Exploration
As babies become more mobile, they enjoy age-appropriate play, toys, bubbles, shaker songs, early books, and interacting with each other. Baby-led exploration nurtures healthy brain development.
5. Closing Goodbye Song
